December 22, 2010—Houston, Texas. Everyone is all gas’d up for Independent Recording Artist Propain because his latest mix tape, entitled DEPARTURE is all the buzz in the big easy. This Houston based Rapper has everything it takes according to his newly released mix tape to become The Best.
DEPARTURE, Propain’s third mix tape is an accumulation of his hard work and efforts toward putting his music career first. With Trey Songz; Big Sean ; J Dawg from Houston and several others backing him, the mix tape has often been mistaken for an album. “This mix tape is all original. Producers ChaseNCashe who produced Lil Wayne’s “Drop It On Your Head” also produced a track on my mix tape called “Don’t Even Worry”. However, “Say I Won’t” is getting the most recognition. It’s a chant and it’s just a big record. A lot of athletes love that record”, states Propain who happens to have a lot of major Athletes as fan. “It’s a motivational record”.
Houston born Mega Music Producer Kenoe (Jay-Z’s “Star is Born” ; Kanye’ West; and Keyshia Cole) heard Propain’s mix tape and flew to Houston immediately to lend support to Propain’s career. “Propain definitely has what it takes to make it in the music business”.
“People in the Houston area then started to mention my name a lot as a result of Chamillionaire”, recalls Propain. Texas based Rap Artist, Chamillionaire had tweeted a question on Twitter, “Who are the hottest ‘up & coming’ Rappers in Texas? And everyone responded via Twitter by stating Propain’s name. “Bun B then began to take notice of my craft as well”, states Propain. Propain has also been an Opening Act for Artists such as Rick Ross, J. Cole, T.I., Slimm Thug, and Bun B.
